To Be Blessed Or To Be A Blessing.

When we meet people for the first time, it's easy to judge them based on how they look, how they are dressed, how they talk, etc. We then have a choice in our judgement. It can either be positive or negative. This week I learnt that I can determine on doing something different than judging people I come across. I can ask myself,  "What can I learn from this person or what good do I have that I can teach or give to this person?"  In having this kind of attitude, it means that I see people from God's perspective.  I can choose to see that our paths are crossing for a reason. They're either meant to be a blessing to me or, I'm meant to be a blessing to them. So I encourage you, the next time you meet someone, instead of judging them, ask yourself,  "Is this person meant to bless me or I'm I meant to bless them?" A New Adventure For A New Year - Adventures In God

Like most people, every new year comes with excitement for me. I don’t know what it is but I never fail to feel the excitement of a new beginning.

Even when I don’t see the physical manifestations of the things hoped for through the year, I’m glad I still have hope every end of the year for the new year.

The biggest expectation of this new coming year for me is self development. That is why I’m beginning this blog today. To set it up and be ready for 2024. It’s going to be my way of reflecting on the things that matter to me. Things that may seem small to some but are very impactful and life changing to me.

Like today.

I went out with my ten year old daughter on an errand and for the first time I asked her to ride in the front seat with me. I don’t know why, but I treasured this moment. It may seem like nothing to many but to me, it was my way of connecting with her.

And I thought it is a good way to prepare for the start of the journey by blogging about it because it captures one of the ways I envision my self development journey. Building relationships.

This is a quick "test" blog so I will catch you in the next one,

Until then,

Stay Blessed!

Moses.
